UFC Fight Night Results Predictions For Dublin - McGregor Vs Brandao

3. Brad Pickett Vs. Ian McCall

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oCUwpO21yQ Weight Class: Flyweight In the fight that probably has the most bearing on the championship picture in its respective weight class on this card, England's Brad "One Punch" Pickett (24-8), recipient of five "Fight of the Night" awards between the WEC and UFC, takes on Uncle Creepy himself, Ian McCall (12-4-1). This is Pickett's sophomore fight at flyweight, where he is currently ranked 10th. McCall, despite having only one win in the UFC, is currently ranked 3rd (he does, however, have a draw with current Champion Mighty Mouse Johnson). Both these fighters are marketable and have solid popularity among fans. Both are coming off wins, and a 2-fight win streak in a thin flyweight division puts them close to a title shot, especially with John Dodson out with injury until 2015. The only other option right now at flyweight is Jussier Formiga, should he win his upcoming bout with Zach Makovsky, or Joseph Benavidez yet again. Pickett is the much more experienced fighter here, and has fought Renan Barao, Michael McDonald, and Eddie Wineland - coming up short in all three fights, which eventually caused him to drop down to flyweight. McCall has lost to Mighty Mouse and Benavidez, while he has wins outside the UFC over the previously mentioned Formiga, Dustin Ortiz, and Darrell Montague, and a loss in the WEC to Dominick Cruz. This fight should be a war. McCall has never been knocked out; Pickett does have one-punch knockout power (hence the nickname), though whether he keeps it with the weight cut remains to be seen. However, in the end Pickett takes this, despite the fact that I'm an Uncle Creepy fan. Pickett via decision.
