Ukraine vs England - 5 Key Battles

4. Yevhen Konoplyanka vs. Kyle Walker

Yevhen Konoplyanka will be no stranger to England fans, who will remember him for his stunner against England almost a year ago that put Ukraine on the verge of a 1-0 win at Wembley, until Lampard's penalty earned Hodgson's men a point. The 23-year-old winger gave right-back Glen Johnson the runaround that day and, with Kyle Walker set to retain his position in the England side, it will be up to the Tottenham fullback to stop Konoplyanka tonight. The spotlight was always going to be on Walker anyway in the wake of his nitrous oxide scandal, and the defender will be hoping for a positive performance to redeem himself having avoided an FA disciplinary charge. There's plenty of width in Ukraine's side and both he and Ashley Cole will have their work cut out tonight if the Three Lions are to keep a precious clean sheet and earn what would be a respectable draw, all things considered.
