He has topped the table throughout the vast majority of the campaign and his consistent performances have now guaranteed him a play-off spot. His fast-paced, almost bullying nature on the oche has left most opponents left for dead in a matter of minutes. Van Gerwen has rapidly cemented himself as a crowd favourite, with chants of 'Michael van Gerwen' echoing around each packed-out arena! If he continues the form that he has shown throughout the Premier League so far then he is my tip to dominate the play-offs and lift the trophy on the 16th May at the O2!
