Wolves Next Manager Interview Shortlist Includes Alan Curbishley

Neil Warnock and Steve Bruce also featured on short list of potential candidates they want to interview.

Just one day after firing Mick McCarthy and announcing that their swill be a swift appointment as his replacement, Wolves are reported to have already drawn up a short list of potential candidates they want to interview, according to sources at Sky Sports News. The short list is claimed to include Neil Warnock and Steve Bruce (two managers who lost their jobs at Premier League clubs this past season at Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland) and Alan Curbishley, the former Charlton and West Ham manager who has been out of a job for the past five years. Curbishley is currently the favourite candidate for the job, following closely by Bruce and Warnock. Current Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is third favourite at most bookmakers with former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez, who has already ruled out a return to the Premier League, fourth favourite. For those looking for a crazy bet, former World Cup winner and Argentina manager Diego Maradona is priced at 237/1 at Betfair.
