Highest Scoring Team - Holland Price: 4/5 This is another bet for the more serious gamblers, who bet with big stakes and expect to see a return on their investment. Holland are currently the top scorers of the World Cup, scoring 12 goals. Behind them are Colombia with 11, France with 10 and Germany with 9. The Dutch have been free flowing in their matches so far, scoring 5 against the current world champions, Spain. Their attack is easily the team's biggest asset, with Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder leading from the front (and not to mention Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in reserve, who isn't bad himself!). Their defence is decidedly shaky, which means that the emphasis so far for them in this competition has been to attack. That's worked for them so far, so expect that to continue, especially against a team like Costa Rica. Their quarter final match against Costa Rica is what is likely to solidify this bet. Whilst you shouldn't underestimate them (look at Italy and Uruguay), you'd expect Holland to pass through this match without much trouble, and since both teams like to attack, there should be a few goals involved. This is good news two ways as it adds goals to their total (obviously) and it also means that they'll play in the maximum number of games possible, with a 3rd place play-off to look forward to if they slip out at the semi-finals. This bet should be safe, but it's sure to cause some excitement for whoever backs it!
