World Cup 2018: 10 Players Who Don't Deserve To Be Going Home

8. Wahbi Khazri

Before the World Cup began, Wahbi Khazri was highlighted as a real danger man for Tunisia and he lived up to that promise when the games got underway. The Sunderland man didn't make much of an impression in Tunisia's opener with England but grew into the tournament and did all he could to help his team in their final two games.

Tunisia's clash with Belgium got off to a terrible start as the African side were 2-0 down within 16 minutes, but Khazri kept pushing and helped to give Tunisia a lifeline as he provided an assist for Dylan Bronn's goal in the 18th minute. Belgium went on to dominate the game, but Khazri got on the scoresheet in the dying moments with a well-taken strike.

Even though Tunisia knew their tournament was over, they still wanted to do their best to beat Panama and win their first ever World Cup game since 1978. They pulled it off, and once again, Khazri was instrumental in the match, assisting Fakhreddine Ben Youssef for Tunisia's first goal and then adding another of his own later on to seal the victory.
