World Cup 2018 Best XI (Heading Into Tournament)
1. Centre Forward - Harry Kane (England)
Accuse me of bias all you want, but Kane has been tipped by some to win the Golden Boot at the World Cup. He will lead England out in Russia as captain, picked by Southgate because he would "set the standard every day".
A clinical goalscorer, almost a 2018 version of Gary Lineker, the 24-year-old has been a "one season wonder" for the past four seasons; winning the Premier League's Golden Boot twice and being named in the team of the season for four years in a row.
Recently rated the most valuable player in the world, he is as good in the air as he is with his feet and will have a point to prove after Euro 2016 where he ended up on corner duty.
If football does come home, it'll be thanks to Harry Kane.
