World Cup 2018 Best XI (Heading Into Tournament)
8. Right Back - Joshua Kimmich (Germany)
Replacing Phillip Lahm at Bayern Munich and for Germany is no mean feat, but this 23-year-old has shown himself to be talented, versatile and one to watch at this summer's tournament. He's also a genuine goal threat going forward as evidenced by Munich's semi-final with Madrid in the Champions League.
A fixture in the German side ever since playing in the third group game for them at Euro 2016, Kimmich provided nine assists in a flawless qualifying campaign. He was included in the UEFA squad of the season and was voted the right-back of the season in the Bundesliga with an incredible 82% of the vote.
