Liverpool Transfers: 5 Reasons Luis Suarez Will Eventually Be Sold

Luis Suarez has silenced any speculation that he may be set to leave in January by putting his signature on a new, four-and-a-half year contract at Liverpool. Suarez has been frequently tipped with a move away, with Arsenal heavily linked with a move for the Uruguayan over the summer, even making a bid of £1 over £40 million for the striker. Spanish giants Real Madrid have also maintained an interest in the past, as their manager Carlo Ancelotti plots to wrangle the Liga crown away from serial winners Barcelona. However, it appears both will have to wait a little while longer if they are to secure the 26-year-old's services, with this new deal tying him to the Anfield club for the foreseeable. This may not be the end of transfer speculation linking Suarez with a move away from Merseyside, however, in a footballing climate where loyalty is only worth as much as the paper contracts are signed on. And, taking into account the South American's penchant for extreme behaviour, it would not be a total surprise were a future window to yield reports tipping the fiery forward with a move. Here, we take a look at 5 reasons Luis Suarez will eventually be sold by Liverpool.
