Netflix's Lost In Space remake first landed on the streamer back in 2018, boasting thrilling visuals, intriguing plots and an engaging family dynamic. A remake of the '60s CBS series, it follows the Robinson clan who, after being chosen to colonise the closet Solar System, end up stranded on a nearby planet when an alien robot damages their ship. And from there, Maureen, John, Will, Judy and Penny all have to learn to survive in an alien world.

Feedback to the first season was positive but it did tend to feel more like it languished in the lukewarm territory than anything else. Now this wasn't a bad way to kick things off, sure, but it did feel like the ambitious series deserved more love considering how it successfully breathed new life into a decades-old concept and provided us with the kind of sights that its admittedly-great predecessor just wasn't capable of. Thankfully, the second season brought it that much closer to fulfilling its potential.

It does take an episode or two to get going, but once it does, Lost In Space is an absolute joy to watch. And with its third and final season on the way, now is the time to finally show this series the love it deserves by witnessing its thrills firsthand.
