10 Awesome Cyborgs in TV History

6. Steve Austin - The Six Million Dollar Man (1973)

Yes, he's the Bionic Man. Yes, he's the Six Million Dollar Man (a nickname I was stuck with when, as a computer programmer, I accidentally cost a credit card company 6,000,000 U.S. Dollars in uncharged over credit limit fees because I had a "" instead of a ">" in my programming code). But how often do you stop to think that he's a cyborg? Steve Austin (played by Lee Majors) is the epitome of the World English Dictionary definition of a cyborg - he had both legs, one arm, and one eye replaced with bionics, or biologically-controlled electronics, that greatly increased his strength, speed, and eyesight.
