Rumours abound that Jaquen H'ghar is actually Syrio Forel, so this is very much two obscure characters for the price of one. Think about it: Syrio 'died' offscreen, they're both mysterious, elegant, expert swordsmen and... they both bully Arya Stark. It is also worth noting he made his first appearance shortly after the death of Forel. It is difficult to remember Jaqen's name because technically he doesn't have one; he is, after all, a Faceless Man, an order of assassins with the ability to change their appearance at will. Jaqen is so effective, he's almost supernatural, and audiences will be glad to see him play a major role in the current season as tutor of Arya Stark, though he hasn't made enough appearances so far. It looks like tough love will be the order of the day for Arya, as he orders her to abandon the past and embrace the life of a Faceless Man in order to gain revenge.
