10 Celebrity Guests Who Should've Stayed In South Park
2. Vince McMahon
Episode(s) appeared in: WFT (Season 13, Episode 10)
After WWE Live rolled into South Park, the boys decided their futures lie in professional wrestling. After an awkward mistake led them to their school wrestling club, they set up their own backyard wrestling promotion – Wrestling Takedown Federation. Their outrageous storylines and their acting ability, rather than any athletic talent, lured Vince McMahon, the owner of the world’s largest wrestling promotion to South Park.
After the shunned wrestling teacher failed to assassinate McMahon with a rocket launcher, he won the crowd over with an impassioned rant about the boys taking his job. Thinking this was part of the show, McMahon hired the wrestling coach, deciding he had more wrestling talent than the boys.
Vince McMahon was depicted as a generic businessman with an off-brand Irish lilt. In reality, Vince is closer to a real-life Eric Cartman. He uses his “authoritah” to bully and humiliate his employees, including his own family. He also gets involved in convoluted schemes such as faking his own death, discovering he fathered a leprechaun, and being the anonymous leader of a Satanic cult. McMahon also loves childish, bodily humour, often dubbing it “good s**t”. The worlds of WWE and South Park are not too far apart.
