5. Rory Williams
Ed Milliband has made great play out of showing his stronger side after a few years of being dismissed as a feeble nerdy type. If anyone in the Whoniverse is the equivalent of this, it's Rory Williams. From hapless fiancé to noble Centurion, this young man has run the gamut and many Britons would be proud to call him our Prime Mover and Shaker. With his affable, vulnerable persona, alongside a knack of coming through with the tough stuff at just the right moment, "Mr Pond" could charm the voters, whilst giving them confidence in his ability to keep the Cabinet and the country on his side. And if dissident MPs don't listen, then maybe they'll hear Chief Whip and Rory's better half Amy, who's capable of altering more mindsets than Skagra with a boxful of spheres. In fact the one drawback to Rory's potential candidacy is his attachment to the formidable "Mrs Williams", whose looks and style would provide a consistent talking point for the media, who should be listening to her husband's intelligent and thoughtful policies for a better Britain instead!
