10 Doctor Who Easter Eggs Hidden In Plain Sight

5. West Ham Obduro

Doctor Who Special Weapons Dalek
BBC

In the eleventh and twelfth seasons of the revival, Graham O'Brien travels with the Thirteenth Doctor. He also wears a West Ham F.C. badge on his lapel for the duration as he is a supporter of the club. In this, he joins Donna Noble as companions who like the Hammers, something that she revealed in Planet of the Ood.

However, when the badge is inspected closely, something odd appears. Just underneath West Ham, the word Obduro appears. This is the Latin term for endurance but look closely at the shading of the letters on the three words - each first letter is a different colour, meaning W.H.O. is clearly visible.

The badge was designed by Bradley Walsh himself, a cheeky little nod to the show and allowing him to constantly walk around with Who on his lapel - a callback to some of the old question marks that adorned the lapels of the classic era Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Doctors. The Thirteenth may not have been able to pull off a decorative Who, so Graham stepped up to the plate!
