10 Embarrassingly Shoddy Doctor Who Monsters

4. Everything in 'The Twin Dilemma'

This came after the Caves of Androzani! THIS! We have Colin Baker in an awful costume, Master Gibbs from Pirates of the Caribbean in an a rainbow karate outfit, a number of actors looking like Harry from Home Alone after being covered in feathers and to top it off, our main enemy, Mestor looks like a hairy pile of excrement. Whoever put this together was either under the age of 10 or was just having a very bad day. The Jacondans are actually passable, even if the actors appear to have been doused in glue and then had their heads shoved in a pillow. I €™m not entirely sure what they were aiming for with them, silver skin, horns and feathers, but Mestor is unbelievably worse. A big sack with deeply boppers is the best way I can describe it. No attempt is even made to disguise this fact as the whole thing is floodlit and the only movement the actor in there can achieve is waving his hands like the robot from Lost in Space. Why would anyone think this would be a good idea?
