10 Glee Covers As Good As The Originals

8. 'We Are Young' - Fun., 'Hold On To Sixteen'

One of the most addictive breakout songs of 2012, Canadian band Fun. broke out with the lead single from their sophomore album 'Some Nights' with 'We Are Young', a song made even more famous with Glee's life-affirming rendition of it. In the episode, the Troubletones are welcomed back into the fold of New Directions, both camps fresh from the Regionals competition in which the latter triumphed and in celebration, it seems, everyone gets a chance to let their vocals shine, the mix of voices challenging the original. Singers like Dianna Agron, Chord Overstreet and Naya Rivera get their chances here, Agron's in particular a sweet, bubbly contrast to the powerful vocals of Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. Plus the performance ends the episode on an uplifting high, rare within the show - always a bonus.
