Let's move from one Parks and Recreation alumnus to another, switching from the loveable Andy Dwyer to the stern and severe Ron Swanson.

Nick Offerman is sitcom royalty at this point, as his beloved performance as the head of the Parks and Recreation department was one of the strongest characters in the last decade of comedy.

His deliberately reserved and overly strict character was both energetic and subtle at the same time, and there's no doubt he could do something similar in Always Sunny.

While he's best known for starring in wholesome projects, Offerman has a dark side to him that can be well used. For example, his performance in Fargo shows that he can get his hands a little dirty, which would help him out massively at Paddy's Pub.

Overall, taking a guest spot in this FX show would be a nice change of pace for him, as he could explore a slighter edgier side to his comedy, and fans would love to see what the gang make of his iconic moustache.
