10 Most Hated Parks And Recreation Episodes

This entire list could be comprised of episodes from season 1. The show and characters are vastly different then they are throughout the rest of the series, so much so that the first season is almost unwatchable. A big reason for that is the character Mark Brendanawicz.

Mark was a character that the show desperately wanted to be the handsome, lovable guy of the office. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for the character as many people found him rather unlikeable. He's not charming and comes off as an emotionless jerk. Boys club is a classic example of Mark at his work.

Here Leslie desperately attempts to fit in with men from the office, a huge part of that influenced by Mark's presence. She is overcome with the need to be a part of the group, so when they run out of refreshments, Leslie offers an office gift containing wine and cheese. Knowing that office employees aren't allowed to accept any gifts over 20 dollars, Leslie puts her career on the line just to fit in.

It’s always a disappointment to watch Leslie lower her morals, but even more disappointing to watch Mark's one good shot at being decent fade. He knows Leslie well enough to have stopped her from bringing out the wine. Which makes it all the worse to watch her do something so low to get Mark’s attention.
