10 Most Insane Community Fan Theories

Community was always at its strongest when it was mimicking other corners of the pop-culture lexicon. So, when 'Epidemiology' came along and they got their chance to do a zombie outbreak episode, boy did they do it well.

It also spawned a theory by /splingles/ surrounding Troy and the long-running A/C repair school storyline. As the study group get picked off one by one fighting off the 'zombies' that their classmates have become, they realise that they have to lower the temperature of the building to return them to normal. The only problem is that the thermostat is in the middle of the zombie-infested school.

It comes down to Abed and Troy to save them all but Abed gets bit so that Troy may escape. Troy then manages to get to the thermostat in-spite of being bitten many times and, before falling to zombie infection, appears to have succeeded in turning the A/C on.

However, the time delay between Troy changing the temperature and the A/C coming on is suspicious. The theory states that, as was demonstrated later, the A/C school had eyes on the whole school and seeing the situation turned on the cooling system remotely to save Troy from his fate.

As a theory goes, it makes little difference to the rest of the show, so it could easily be true.
