In 2009 the cult sci-fi story V got a second run around after the brief attempt in the 1980's (seemingly inspired by the successful reimagining of Battlestar Galactica). While there were numerous issues with the production as episode orders were cut down while filming, the show managed to look slick and have a loyal fanbase.

Its abrupt cancellation after its short second season, though, meant that those fans never really got any answers to what was going to happen next. After the fleet of Visitors had first shown up on Earth at the beginning of the first season, things started to get dark fast.

The Fifth Column of Resistors did their best to expose the seemingly benevolent and beautiful Visitors for the reptile species that they actually were. Their efforts seemed to yield some fruit as the season wore on, but the cliffhanger ending left us with another massive fleet of Visitors arriving in the orbit of Earth and... that's it. That's all we'll ever know about the reptile people who were trying to take over the world.

Maybe David Icke was right all along, huh.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
