The Doctor and Rose have landed back in the Victorian era, except this time they're in Scotland and quite by chance they have run into Queen Victoria. Invited to join her for dinner the pair can't refuse, but it soon turns out that something scary has been brought to the house too - and its after the Queen. If The Unquiet Dead is a Victorian ghost story, then Tooth and Claw is the Victorian set monster movie - with a fast paced chase scene through the house, and a wonderfully realised CGI werewolf, that still looks pretty good even now. The plot is also particularly clever, with a nice little humourous twist at the end, and David Tennant's doctor is on top form.
