10 Things That Would Kill The Walking Dead

1. A Supernatural Element

It's highly unlikely Kirkman & Co. will go this far, but the second we see anything remotely supernatural is the moment The Walking Dead loses its credibility. Several shows have gone there, drawing in supernatural elements to freshen them up, but it simply wouldn't work with this one. The point of The Walking Dead is to paint a gritty picture of life after civilisation, and aliens simply can't be a part of that. The walkers are great, they look fantastic and thanks to the stunning practical effects, they feel like a real presence. They're a perfect lingering threat without any sort of supernatural element and therefore if Kirkman ever did pull a crazy stunt like that, the world of the show would collapse. It's meant to be as realistic as possible for a zombie show, let's keep it that way.
