10 TV Show Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Offs

5. Malory Archer From Archer

Archer is a one-of-a-kind experience. With an all-star cast that's easily recognizable by their voices, the show follows a group of God-awful spies attempting to run their own agency. The series is driven by unstable characters, and while Sterling Archer (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) is the titular character, it's really his mother Malory Archer who steals the show.

Sadly, with the passing of the great Jessica Walters who voiced the sassy character, Malory's time on the show is most likely at an end, but wouldn't it be great if that wasn't the case? We've seen glimpses of Malory's life and would very much like to see more.

A spinoff series in her name could explore everything that’s been hinted at taking place in Marlory’s past. We know that she once pursued an acting career before going into the spy business. She has an estranged sister and brother that we barely heard about and was gone for 5 years during World War II. Perhaps, we'd even get the answer to the much-debated question of who Archer's father really is.

The spinoff could also bring back fan favourite Woodhouse as he helped deliver Archer in his very own bar. At the time, Malory was working for The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) and was caught in the middle of a war zone when she went into labour.

This could be a wonderful way to pay homage to the incredible work Walters did to create such a strong character.

Rest in peace Miss Walters, you are incredibly missed.
