10 TV Show Moments That Aren't What They Seem

4. Fake Feet Helped Hopper Grace The Snow - Stranger Things

Spending the day sprinting around a TV set barefoot can get pretty brutal rather quickly.

So, it's not too difficult to see why the folks behind Netflix's Stranger Things utilised a rather inspired piece of practical trickery when asking David Harbour's toes to grace the snowy terrain during the show's recent fourth season.

As seen in a BTS clip showing what went into the sequence that involved Hopper escaping from the Russian prison, Harbour can be spotted wearing what appears to be big prosthetic feet whilst seated on a snowmobile.

Asking the star to brave the cold and legitimately go barefoot in such a chilly locale would have likely left them with one seriously frostbitten talent. So, these rubber hobbit feet were no doubt worth their weight in gold when all was said and done, and provided the unnoticeable foundation for Hopper's great escape.

Elsewhere, the actor also sported another easily missed prosthetic during the latest season, with Harbour being fitted with a "fuller" Hopper face for the flashback sequences of his apparent "death" in Season Three.

As the star himself put it, "The results speak for themselves."
