10 TV Shows That Have Already Been Cancelled In 2021

5. Peaky Blinders

Peaky Blinders

Peaky Blinders is returning for a sixth and final season. The show was on hiatus due to Covid-19 restrictions but is back in production. Writer Steven Knight has also teased that while the show is ending, the story will continue.

Knight confirmed at the 2018 BAFTA Awards that his ambition had always been to tell the story of a family between two wars, with the final moment being the noise of the first air raid siren of World War Two.

Knight also previously confirmed that once the series comes to an end, there would likely be a film or spin-off series to follow. The only thing known for certain about either of these projects is that they won't be prequels.

You can’t kill a character who can show up in the series. The problem with prequels is you’re limiting yourself as to where it can go.

There is no confirmed air date yet on the final series.
