10 Upcoming New Sci-Fi TV Shows To Be Excited About
4. Superman And Lois
Arrowverse fans have spent the past four years begging and pleading with The CW to give Tyler Hoechlin's Man of Steel his very own show, and after playing coy at every single chance they could get, the network has finally gone and done it... but with a twist.
Superman and Lois won't follow in parent show Supergirl's footsteps by recounting the titular hero's origin story (which is great because we really don't need another Superman prequel), no this one will be firmly placed in the present - the post-Crisis present - and showcase DC Comics' greatest couple as they attempt to juggle all the heroics and headlines of their daily lives with the madness of parenting teenage sons.
A refreshing concept that already promises to be different from the typical Arrowverse format rehashed in all of its predecessors, Superman and Lois has great potential, great leads in Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch and a great fanbase behind it already - and it could very well become this generation's answer to Lois and Clark.
