10 Worst How I Met Your Mother Episodes

One of the key problems with Season 9 is that it did the opposite of what everyone expected it to do. After Barney and Robin going back and forth in their relationship for the entire show, it was nice to know that they were finally together.
Barney’s plan
for the proposal was legendary, and when they came together at last, the audience knew
that these two characters were right for one-another. Except, are they?
Because while I expected to go into Season 9 rooting for the couple, the
wedding which nobody thought would ever happen, it seemed the entire season was
forcing the audience to doubt themselves. Instead of hyping people up for the wedding, episode
after episode made everyone doubt the match.
This is one of those episodes, showcasing that Barney will inevitably return to his old ways and teach younger men how to have a good time and live in his own image.
It's a flash-forward if you will, a big neon flashing sign saying "this man can't handle a marriage".
Meanwhile, it deals far too much with Ted’s feelings for Robin, and the Robin Balloon which he eventually lets go is contradicted by the rest of the show. The entire idea of this love triangle, and the fact that it's more than just Ted having a crush on Robin as she seems to reciprocate the feelings, is too uncomfortable to deal with in a season that's supposed to be tying up all of the loose ends. It’s also super weird.
