11 Netflix Marvel Performances The MCU Needs To Save
5. Bullseye (Wilson Bethel)
How do you bring a villain as scary as Bullseye to the screen? Firstly, you ignore everything the Daredevil movie did and start again.
As Bullseye was a fairly enigmatic and sporadic comic book character, the Daredevil series changed a few things. They settled on the fleeting comic book persona of Benjamin Poindexter, aka Dex, and made TV's Bullseye a bit of a shy-guy with a tortured past. But when that evil side manifested, boy did the villainous bomb drop?!
When Wilson Bethel's Bullseye donned the fake Daredevil costume and embarked on his markedly slick killing spree, jaws dropped. It was like watching a completely different person to the timid and reserved police officer that was Dex in his daily life, and this was all testament to Bethel's performance.
Even more frustrating was that the character had only undergone his first revolution by the end of Daredevil Season 3, and had yet to wear the classic blue and white Bullseye costume: Wasted potential personified.
He'd have been a great addition to The Punisher Season 2. It's a shame nobody thought of that. Bring him back, please!
