12 Darkest South Park Moments Ever

1. Mr. Garrison's Father DIDN'T Molest Him

The show’s darkest storyline is surprisingly a B-story, in which audiences get their first glimpse at the disturbed sexual life of elementary school teacher, Herbert Garrison.

Soaked in rain and sound-tracked by a melancholic piano score, Mr. Garrison confronts his father. In his childhood home, Garrison asks about the sexual abuse. As expected, his father denies it. In a dark comedy twist, Garrison responds, “I know. I want to know why not”. Garrison quizzes his father as to why he could go off and screw any whore on Ryland Street but when it came to his own son, he was just too busy?

Mr. Garrison later grills his mother if she knew his father never sexually molested him. She breaks down screeching that his father loved him and claims she would’ve made him if she’d known otherwise. Garrison says she stood by and let it happen. “You saw him come home drunk and then just go right to sleep.”

In a typically disturbing South Park resolution, the family’s rift is healed when the Garrison parents pay saxophonist Kenny G, disguised as Garrison’s father, to molest their son.
