12 TV Shows That Were Cancelled Way Too Soon

4. Utopia

Utopia felt like a breath of fresh air when the first season aired on Channel 4 back in January 2013. The story is of a group of people who find themselves in possession of the sequel to a cult graphic novel, believed to have predicted the worst disasters of the last century.

It was full of mystery and thrilling moments, with a lot of violence, swearing, and astonishingly striking visuals. It did enough in its first season to get a second, but after that it was confirmed that it had not been renewed for a third season.

There are online campaigns hoping to get the show saved, with Netflix being the most likely home, but so far they haven€™t amounted to anything. It is, however, getting a starry US remake by HBO, with Gone Girl€™s David Fincher and Gillian Flynn directing and writing respectively.
