12 TV Shows That Were Cancelled Way Too Soon

7. Spaced

This is a bit of an exception on this list, as it wasn't exactly cancelled per se. Rather, the show€™s writers - Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson - decided not to continue it. Even so, it was a massive shame that we never got more than two seasons and 14 episodes of one of the great modern British sitcoms.

Directed by Edgar Wright, and also starring the likes of Nick Frost and Mark Heap as well as Pegg and Stevenson, the show followed the latter two as strangers who end up getting a flat together and basically try and figure out what exactly they are doing with their lives.

There wasn€™t a definitive end to Spaced, and that - along with how smartly and hilariously it was written - have led to repeated calls for a third season, something Pegg and Stevenson are constantly asked about. It probably isn€™t going to happen, and maybe by now it shouldn€™t, but it would've been great to see more of their lives.
