12. The Creation Of Jigsaw - The Punisher
The Punisher didn’t have the best of luck on the big screen, despite the simple concept and three separate attempts. While each film had merits – yes, even the Dolph Lundgren once – they also had weaknesses that spoiled the fun.
Frank Castle’s appearance in Daredevil’s second season all but guaranteed he’d got his own spin-off, since he easily stole the show. It didn’t take long for this to be confirmed, and Frank will also be facing off – no pun intended – against old enemy Jigsaw.
Ben Barnes – who played slimeball Logan in Westworld – will be taking the role, playing Billy Russo, a good-looking villain who is left badly deformed following a run-in with The Punisher. It’s unknown how much time Russo will go without his face being messed up, but his creation will certainly be a satisfying moment when it arrives.
