5. The Comeback
"Hey, George! The ocean called! They're running out of shrimp!" -Reilly Everyone at one time has had one of those moments where they think, "ooh, I should've said that!" Very few, however, have taken it to the extreme lengths of George Costanza when a coworker snidely remarks that he eats a lot of shrimp. George thinks of the perfect comeback... several hours later, and it's a doozy. "Hey, Reilly. The jerk store called; they're running out of you!" Only problem: Reilly has left the Yankees and moved to Ohio to work for Firestone. That would stop most people, but not George Costanza, who actually comes up with a bull excuse to fly out to Ohio on business, eat as much shrimp as he possibly can in a staff meeting just to push Reilly to say it one more time so George Costanza can have his moment of glory. Of course his comeback is easily stomped down to which he makes a remark about his sexual relations with Reilly's comatose wife and is sent home. That would stop most people, but not George Costanza, who comes up with another comeback on the drive home from the airport and turns right around and goes back...
