Star Trek The Next Generation Conundrum Erich Anderson

Erich Anderson appeared in the fifth season episode of The Next Generation, Conundrum, as Commander Kieran MacDuff. This infiltrator shocked the audience by doing poor Riker out of a job - until he was discovered and exposed.

Anderson had a long career as an actor, though he initially concentrated on science. He achieved a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, before switching to the dramatic arts. He appeared in such other shows as Felicity and The Outer Limits. To horror fans, he is known for his performance as the ill-fated Rob Dier in Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter.

He was also a novelist, penning three books. He wrote Hallowed Be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, and Rabbit: A Golf Fable.

He was 67 years old when he died, having battled cancer for some time.
