25 Most Hotly Anticipated New TV Shows Of 2020

Jason Segel’s upcoming oddball anthology drama hits AMC in March next year… but no one seems entirely sure what it’s about...

The premise seems to be based on a real life scavenger hunt style game called Nonchalance played in San Francisco a decade or so ago, and follows four random people brought together by chance (or are they?) who seem to have hit upon some kind of hidden mystery (or have they?) that will change their lives forever (or will it?).

There definitely seems to be a bit of a David Lynch influence there, and the cast is stellar - Sally Field! - but the concept and the trailer seem to be focused on a specific story following specifc characters, and all the publicity on this show calls it an anthology, heavily implying that each episode will follow a different story… unless that’s meant to suggest that subsequent seasons will follow different stories and characters in the same world or on the same premise?

At this stage, no one’s telling… but it’s undeniably fascinating as it stands, and Segel et al seem to have a good chance of pulling it off. Whatever it is.
