6. Billie Piper Returning But Sounding Nothing Like Rose
Fans rejoiced when it was announced that Billie Piper would be returning to Doctor Who in Series 4 but their unequivocal joy turned into head scratching confusion when she eventually came back - after a string of blink and you'll miss them cameos - in Turn Left and sounded nothing like Rose Tyler at all. Like, at all. Never mind the stars going out, Billie's forgotten how to do a Cockney accent and she's also acquired a random lisp which is far too distracting to ignore. What is going on?! Her sudden speech impediment remains one of TV's greatest mysteries to this very day but fans have put it down to the fact that Billie had just been to the dentist and are trying to put it behind them. It's going to take a while.
