5. The Doctor And Clara Meeting Santa Claus In The North Pole
Doctor Who has always been raising questions about what's fact and what's fiction but never have the lines been blurrier than in the most recent episode, Last Christmas, in which the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald encountered Santa Claus - as played with gusto by the aptly named Nick Frost - during a festive escapade in the North Pole. He had even a couple of comical elves to boot. Don't worry, though, because it was all just a dream in the end (or rather a dream within a dream within a dream within a narrative nightmare, to be more precise!), so Father Christmas is still just as real as he was before. Which is categorically not real. Sorry, but it's true. Stay tuned for Harry Potter's cameo in Series 9.
