We're getting the sequel to 2016's Deadpool this year, but that movie isn't the only Merc with a Mouth action we're getting in 2018.

Donald Glover and FXX are teaming up for an animated take on the character, which will most certainly not be your typical superhero cartoon.

As is befitting the character, this will be a very adult animation, allowing him the same kind of R-rating he gets in the movies, and with animation offering the chance to be even more violent and sweary.

Glover's a tremendous talent and clearly has a lot of love for Marvel Comics (he voiced Miles Morales and appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming), and it'll be great to see what can be cooked up here.
