30 TV Shows That Will Kick-Ass In 2018

12. The Americans

With The Leftovers departing this mortal coil last year, FX's The Americans picks up the baton of TV's most overlooked series (in terms of awards and viewership). It's unlikely to change that too much with Season 6, but - after a stumble with Season 5 - should be able to go out on a high-note.

The show is taking a leap forwards of three years as it hurtles towards its conclusion, finding Paige, now in college, taking up the family business while father Phillip insists he's out of the spy game.

The show has long-been impeccably acted and written, and it'll be fascinating to see how they draw this saga - which is as much about the marriage as it is spies - to a close.
