31 Upcoming Comic Book TV Shows You Have To See

3. Outcast

Status: The series has a 10-episode order from Cinemax. Its premiere should be in 2015-2016. Pitch: Kyle Barnes has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Reverend Anderson, a preacher with personal demons of his own, accompanies him on a journey to learn why and regain the normal life Kyle lost. A scary story written and executive-produced by Robert Kirkman. Odds of Success Onscreen: Strong. The book has maintained solid sales for Image (scroll to Trade Paperback sales figures here) and Kirkman's name is a big draw. It's only mildly concerning that he's flying solo as executive producer this time, a taxing job to do alone when you have three comics series and two other TV series to worry about.
