5 Best Love, Death And Robots Episodes
1. Sonnie's Edge
Although there is a large number of exceptional narratives throughout the course of this TV series, very few can even hope to match the standards set by Sonnie's Edge. Yet another example of ruthless, graphic fight scenes presented by emphatic special effects, this episode is perfect balance between visual mastery and story line based content.
This alternative reality based short story focuses on Sonnie, the 'pilot' of an enormous arena battle monster and her crew, consisting of her two closest friends. Sonnie is approached by a billionaire before the fight commences and is asked to lose intentionally despite being on an almighty winning streak. But she chooses to fight for her monster.
Even though this episode clocks in at just seventeen minutes long, the character development and narrative is exceptional. On top of this, the finale to this episode is punctuated by a great plot twist which represents standing up to bullies and defying abuse.
