6. "Bitchy Blonde Cheerleader"
Perhaps there are actually a lot of real life examples of these types of people, however that doesn't mean it isn't a stereotype, and the fact that I think many cheerleaders (because of the nature of highschools) will often be bitchy and often have blonde hair is probably only because I watch a lot of TV and this particular stereotype is pretty much used on every television show set in highschool. In fact, please, if any of you can think of a show set in a school which doesn't have at least one bitchy blonde I'd love to be educated in the comments section. Quinn Fabray is the perfect example of this stereotype, all except for the fact that the character (who is now at Yale) is actually shown to be one of the smarter members of the Glee club for a change. Quinn's characterization on the show has had a lot of criticisms for being inconsistent... sometimes she is nice, sometimes she is just pure evil, and sometimes she is somewhere in between (also, for two episodes she was a punk and had pink hair) however I'd make the argument that real people are actually pretty inconsistent themselves. Quinn ended season 3 as pretty much the nicest girl: she let Rachel win Prom Queen which was a big deal for her, and she did a lot of growing up in the latter half of the season... whether she will have turned back into her bitchy self when she returns fairly soon in season 4 is anyone's guess. I'd wager not, however considering Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch's character) has been evil then nice then evil again so many times, it wouldn't be a safe bet.
