Unlike the rest of the list, this one may not have had too much of a broader impact on the show as a whole, or even the rest of the episode, but it was a really awesome moment when it happened, and an extermely fan-pleasing one at that. Fighting in Wildcat's gym, a boxing glove accidentally gets caught on the end of one of Oliver's arrows, just as he's about to fire it. It then knocks down the bad-guy, and gives a clear nod to the comics, in which Green Arrow has a number of trick arrows, including the boxing glove one. Aside from being a cool Easter egg, it is also a tease of what we can expect in season 4, with Oliver becoming Green Arrow and, hopefully, showcasing his quiver of tricks.
