Arrow: 10 Characters Who Should Join Season 5

6. Natas

Arrow Nightwing
DC Comics

We’re yet to find out for definite who the overarching ‘big bad’ is of Arrow’s Season 5 - although Chad Coleman's Tobias Church is set to become a serious problem for the show's titular hero - but whoever it is will be a major threat that will push the Emerald Archer to his breaking point. That’s where Natas comes into the fold.

Natas is a character who helped expand Oliver’s skillset and survival instincts, pushing him to limits he never thought possible. Never afraid to fight dirty during his training, Natas (conveniently Satan spelt backwards) brutalized Ollie in an effort to make the Green Arrow a better hero.

What’s even more interesting about Natas is that he also teaches Oliver Queen how to play the system when it comes to the stock market as well as give him a one-up on how to drain corrupt business of their wealth. It’s with the money and resources gained from this that the comic book Oliver funds him Mayoral campaign.

Considering that Oliver Queen is now Mayor of Star City in Arrow, Natas would be a nice addition to the show in order to expand the resources at Ollie’s fingertips or to strengthen his defence against any opposition to his temporary position as Mayor, whilst his presence would also serve to help the Green Arrow side of Oliver Queen up his game for whatever ‘big bad’ Season 5 has to offer.
