Arrow: 10 Things We Learned From The Season 4 Premiere
5. Lance Is Working For H.I.V.E.
Captain Quentin Lance is arguably the heart of Arrow. He's the moral compass that tries to steer everyone in the right direction. So what happens now that this seemingly incorruptible man has been corrupted?
It's clear that Lance didn't know what he was getting into when he signed up with H.I.V.E. He protests to Damien Darhk that people weren't supposed to be killed but Darhk doesn't care what he thinks. Demanding his help in finding out everything about the Green Arrow and telling him he doesn't have a choice, it's certainly implied that Darhk will do something to his family if he doesn't aid him.
After Laurel spent so much time hiding things from her dad, it could be a fascinating role reversal to have him all of a sudden hiding things from her. Their father-daughter dynamic has always had a lot of potential largely thanks to Paul Blackthorne's acting, and this could be a catalyst for it to develop much further.
