Arrow: 10 Things We Learned From The Season 4 Premiere
6. The New Team Arrow Is More Brutal
With Oliver's retirement, Team Arrow has taken on a very different look. Diggle, complete with his terrible-looking helmet, is now leading the charge. They've all settled into this new dynamic and Diggle is unsurprisingly not thrilled to see Oliver return. He still doesn't trust his friend after he kidnapped Lyla last year, and now he fears that his arrival risks throwing off the chemistry they've built up.
Thea, who is now operating as Speedy is weirdly excited to be part of the crime fighting, and her overzealous beating of one of the Ghosts makes is clear that she's likely still suffering the after effects of the Lazarus Pit. Laurel has also settled into the team, looking like much more of an established fighter and reliable member.
As a whole, the team is a lot more brutal. In addition to the beating that Thea doles out, Diggle seemingly kills scores of Ghosts with his shoot-first approach. After so much focus on Oliver evolving beyond killing bad guys, hopefully they address this new-found violence that the team seems to operate with.
