Batwoman: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
5. Sophie Moore

In the beginning, Sophie Moore didn't always come off as one of Batwoman's best characters in the present-day narrative, but her rich backstory - in which she was forced to hide her sexuality (and relationship with Kate) at her military academy - always contained the promise of some groundbreaking storytelling. And halfway through the season, the writers finally struck gold with the character.
Sure, there were times when the show wasn't quite sure what to do with her, but Sophie's struggles with her sexuality and subsequent coming to terms with it provided Batwoman with perhaps its most important storyline. And by showcasing her journey towards self-acceptance, the writers not only enhanced Sophie as a character, they told an inspirational story that no doubt resonated with countless fans all over the world - one that Meagan Tandy absolutely nailed with her performance.
The truth is that Agent Moore has great potential as a character, and Batwoman has only begun to scratch the surface of that. Expect her to shine in Season 2.
