Batwoman Season 1 Review: 5 Ups & 2 Downs From 'The Rabbit Hole'

Batwoman Ep 2
The CW

Last week, we all praised the show for capturing Gotham City's unique look - a look that was nothing like the cities featured in the other Arrowverse shows. Long story short - the show didn't possess that typical made-for-TV look as everything, from the camera angles to the larger-than-life feel of Chicago itself, gave it a movie-like vibe that visually set it apart from everything else on The CW.

That continued this week, as some beautiful shots of Wayne Enterprises, downtown Gotham and even the secluded alleyways really helped the visuals jump off the screen. And the way in which the scenes of Batwoman on the Bat-Cycle were shot made them look like they had been taken from 2008's The Dark Knight.

Sometimes we just want bigger and better, and this week, Batwoman gave us both.
