If you ever want to be reminded of how old Buffy the Vampire Slayer is, just check out I, Robot... You, Jane, which follows Willow as she quickly falls for an unknown admirer over the Internet before learning he's a demon.
Watching the episode now is actually quite hilarious, what with its incredibly dated musings about stranger danger and catfishing, as well as its tragically dull rug pull. It's awkward and means well, but I imagine it felt dated even when it aired.
That aside, it's really not all bad, since it introduces Jenny Calendar and teases a relationship between her and Giles, it's just that this bright spot is massively over-shadowed by the episode's silly premise and poor attempts at playing things with a straight face.
